Catering Sales Executive- Alfardan Group of Companies

• Responsible for finding new clients to hold catered events. The job often involves attending industry and networking events, telemarketing, and advertising.
• Responsible for maintaining existing clients by keeping in touch with them through phone calls, emails, letters and personal meetings.
• Drafts proposals, creates sample menus and presents them to the client.
• Assumes responsibility for set-up and execution of events.
• Reports progress of catering sales to the Operations Manager
• Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality or service.
Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or other related discipline
• At least 2 years of hotel, restaurant or catering experience
• Must have excellent interpersonal and people management skills
• Must have prospecting, selling and negotiating skills
• Must be adaptable and flexible to change
• Ability to multi-task in a fast- paced environment
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or other related discipline
