Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participates in gathering user/customer requirements
• Assist in the automation of manufacturing to create a state-of-art environment
• Ability to train users on ERP and MES systems
• Maintain documentation and change control
• Analyze business process potentials for streamlining and improvements in efficiencies
• Meet regularly with departments to solicit feedback on needs
• Participate in writing specifications for programming projects
• Documentation and change management of custom code
Education and Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience with QAD (MFG/Pro) ERP System
a. Experience with EB 2.1 or newer preferred
b. Experience with Qxtend, Sonic and Progress programming preferred
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (Medical Device Manufacturing experience a plus)
• Experience with Oracle Discrete Manufacturing or Agile PLM a plus
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• APICS certification, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or QAD certifications preferred
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current computer applications, word processing, spreadsheets, QAD, Oracle.
